The UK Foundries web site provides an ideal advertising opportunity for foundries, customers and foundry suppliers alike. These pages are visited on a regular basis by those involved in the industry, it's customers and suppliers, providing a direct route to your target client base.

There are two large, clickable banner advertisements located at the top and bottom of every page and each has an automatic link to your own web site, should it exist. You can use your own art work or have us create an eye-catching banner, in-house, to your specification. Your banner advertisement consists of a single gif image measuring 468 x 60 pixels. Artwork is included in the costs detailed below.

Advertising space ranges in price depending on which page it is located and on the length of time over which the advertisement is placed. Pages are graded from 1 Star through to 5 Star with the latter grading reserved for pages with the highest visitor hit counts. Each page is marked below the bottom banner advertisement with an image to signify its advertising value.

More that one advertisement can be placed on a page on a rotating basis. Each time the page is viewed, a different advertisement appears on a random basis. A page with a star rating of 1 has 4 rotating advertisements whilst a page with a star rating of 5 has 1 advertisements. Where a page allows more than one banner advertisement, you have a further option of buying additional space on that page (assuming the same art work) at a discounted rate. Just total the number of advertisements and reduce that total by 40%.

There are large percentage discounts available for advertisements placed for longer periods. The minimum advertisement period is 4 weeks and the maximum discount is attracted for advertisements placed for a year or longer. Advertisement space is sold in 4 week blocks which means even the shortest advertisement period gives significant coverage. Foundry members attract an additional 20% discount on the prices quoted below after any bulk discounts are taken off as above.

Example 1 An advertiser wishes to purchase banner advertisement space to run on a 2 star page for 4 weeks Look down the first column to find the number of weeks (4) then look along to see the cost of advertising on a 2 star page (£30). Example 2 An advertiser wishes to purchase 2 randomly rotating banner advertisement spaces (same advertisement content) to run on the same 2 star page for 4 weeks Look down the first column to find the number of weeks (4) then look along to see the cost of advertising on a 2 star page (£30). Multiply this by 2 (£60) then reduce this price by the bulk discount percentage of 40% giving a total of £36. Example 3 A foundry wishes to purchase 2 randomly rotating banner advertisement spaces (same advertisement content) to run on the same 3 star page for 8 weeks Look down the first column to find the number of weeks (8) then look along to see the cost of advertising on a 3 star page (£72). Multiply this by 2 (£144) then reduce this price by the bulk discount percentage of 40% giving a total of £86. Since the advertiser is a foundry, a further discount of 20% can be applied giving a total cost of £69.
